Policies

Warranty

All small appliances and electric items carry a one year warranty. This includes items such as; lamps, blender and clock radios.

(Television’s are covered by a 90 Day Limited Warranty through the Manufacturer.) (Vacuum Cleaners because of their commercial use, are excluded)

Of course, where the manufacturers warranty goes beyond a year, we will honor that warranty. (Example: The frame on the upholstery we supply has a lifetime warranty.)

Please Note:
Because the Mills do not guarantee their fabrics, Hudson’s Vacation Interiors cannot insure them against resistance to wear, colour fastness, seam slippage or shrinking, even though they may have been treated with a protective fabric finish. You can be sure, however, that with normal use, the fabric will give years of excellent service.

Damage deemed to be Customer neglect or abuse is Not covered. Normal wear and tear is to be expected. Damage to electrical items which is done by electrical surge or lightening strikes is Not covered.

Hudson’s Vacation Interiors reserves the right to make substitutions of equal or better goods when necessary.

Photographs

The photographs used in this Catalogue are supplied by our Manufacturers and will include some pieces, which are not necessarily included in your Furniture Package.
Please review your specific package Inventory to see which pieces are included in each room.

For Example:
We do not include the china Cabinets shown in photographs of the Dining Room Sets.
However, if you are interested in any items that are not included in your furniture package, they may be available at an additional cost.

Décor/ Design

You will have your own personal designer to help transform your ideas combined with our exceptional selection into a beautifully appointed, comfortable, practical vacation home. To keep our pricing down and to work with tight delivery schedules, your designer will select all artwork, floral arrangements, and lamps. You will be asked for your likes and dislikes so that these selections will reflect your personal taste. This also gives your designer the ability to give you a well coordinated interior.

Selections

You will be offered the broadest selection of vacation home furnishings available in our industry. Once all your selections are made, your order is held until it is time to process. In the time period that elapses between your original selections and your deposit being requested, feel free to visit our site for new introductions. Should you see a group you prefer over one selected, please hold that information until it is time to process your order. At that time it may be necessary to reselect on one or more items which are no longer available from our suppliers. You will also be given the opportunity to make changes at this time.

Payment

When it is time to process your order, we will require a 50% Deposit. The balance of payment is required prior to scheduling your home to be furnished. If a home is furnished, with out full payment having been collected, Hudson’s Vacation Interiors retains the right to remove goods equal in value to the outstanding debt, if not paid 14 days after delivery.

Delivery

Furnishing your home on time and complete is our primary goal. It is important, that we have, all selections complete and a deposit paid a minimum of 60 days prior to expected installation.

We can definitely accommodate your needs given a shorter period for preparation. But it does eliminate the ability to use some custom products which take longer to receive.

Delivery/ Acceptance

It is the homeowner’s responsibility to be on hand to accept delivery or have an authorized agent do so in their place. We strive to deliver your package complete and damage free. We will allow 7 days from the date of installation for the home to be inspected and any missing or damaged items to be reported. Anything reported after this time frame elapses will be addressed at the discression of management.
